18th Jan 2008

Today, we met our new juniors in IT Club. They looked like us when we were in sec 1. It sure brings back memories. Too bad we were not allowed to take pictures of them as our seniors said that they are not zoo animals. At least we have juniors to *cough*bully*cough*. Anyway, first, we had ice breaking games. We started off with the traditional "wacko". This allowed us to remember their names easily. Then we had them spell their names using only their buttocks. Yeah it is kind of sadistic but it is a tradition. We were laughing at their ridiculous dancing and they, being embarrassed, stopped.

Afterward, we had our traditional games day. As you might have notices, we have many traditions. This event occurs every fortnight, so as to do away with the belief that IT clubbers are either nerds or slackers. We had a game of soccer and trust me, it was chaotic out there.

Well, that is all for today! Good night.

14th Jan 2008

Today was our "club cleaning-cum-choosing leadership role"day. It was tiring for the cleaning part as we had a lot of robotics parts scattered all over the place. You can see us hard at work putting them back into their original place. We also had to clean out the cupboards, do stock taking and the usual things one does when cleaning. This helps us to stay organized and prevent the loss of items.
Afterwards, we had a meeting to discuss what leadership roles were up for grabs. Several roles were President, Vice President, Logistics manager, Human resources and all the required things. I applied for the "hardware" manager, handling the computers fixing them etc. Several of my friends were interested in web design, graphic design, programming, videography and photography. After all that happened, we went down stairs and had a snack involving cup noodles as a club.
That's all for today. I will post some other things tomorrow! See you then.

BBQ PARTY(12 Jan 2008)

Today was a great day. My family and I went to my grandmother's 83rd birthday. Many people were there, to list them all out would probably make you confused so I'll spare you the details. Too bad this wasn't a surprise party, but I suppose its good for her. She's really old so my relatives were probably scared that she couldn't take the shock. She has high blood pressure and diabetes so they went on the safe side. The party this year was a barbecue party at East Coast Park. There were lots of good food and here's a picture of the otah!

Everyone was enjoying themselves. My parents, aunties, uncles, etc. were at the barbecue pit while the kids(below teen of course) were playing their high tech games which i didn't get to play when i was their age. Their family is rich, of course. While the teenagers were just relaxing and talking about school, teachers...... To put it simply, it was the best barbecue party I had ever had. Apart from the fact that some otahs caught fire and were inedible, which is a disaster which occurs at every barbecue party.

Well, that's about all that happened so I'll round it up!
